Hand selected, Birdseye maple reel seats finished with a nickel/silver up-lock system. B. The same “Flower Grade” Portuguese cork is selected for the handle of the Fly Girl rods but we have redesigned the size and shape of the handle to better fit a woman’s hand; giving her more control of the rod in order to reduce fatigue associated with a handle that is too large. C. “Power Cone™” Technology adds strength and power to the butt section of the rod allowing higher line speeds, greater casting performance and improved fish fighting ability. D. Each section flows to the next with internal ferrules that allow for a continuous taper from the butt section all the way to the tip eliminating dead spots, creating a perfect power curve and enhancing performance. To make assembly easier and quicker, small alignment dots are used for positioning. There are no long and heavy rod tubes here. Each W&M Essentials & Accessories Fly Girl rod comes in four perfectly balanced sections and includes a beautiful and durable travel case.
